the music business has a good friend in these companies

now they will begin to bite the hand that feeds

"yes please, take down all of our free advertising, for a product no one in their right mind will buy these days for $16 a pop...when a cd costs $1"

myspace presents the music in a format that is hard to copy....its not like they leave .mp3 links up

fucking retards....let them keep digging their own grave with the public & now big companies like fox

Uh i hate those idiots like MPAA,RIAA or DMCA.For example when they sue warez sites and saying "this sites causes 10 millions of lose".In my life i bought one original music cd for 1$,and that's not gonna change no matter they do.And speaking about myspace and youtube, that is also stupid beacuse they cannot control what users do.

Actually, the CD and all packaging costs about $1 if you're a small label.

A massive label like Universal would probably get CDs and all packaging for about $0.50, if that.

Nevertheless, the wholesale price of most CDs is between $4 and $7. Its everyone on up the foodchain that makes CDs so expensive.
