computer tech question

Im moving around my office, I currently have my full tower on top of my desk. It gives me full access to it but it takes up alot of space. So I want to put it on the floor. There is a switch in the back of the computer for the power supply. The question is when I shut off the computer is it necessary to shut that switch off because once I put it on the floor under my desk it will be a bitch to get to. Your thoughts?

Not necessary, but there are times you need to shut that off. Certain glitches can leave the front power button not working, and you'll need to be able to at least flip off the power supply switch from time to time.

you do not need to turn the switch off when you shut down your computer, nobody does that

Why shut it down?
Mine runs 24/7.
Don't see any reason to shut it down.

Just live the switch all behind and shut your computer down!

that switch is ONLY for a total power down, which is almost never necessary
