My daughter and Congenital Cataracts

We just recently found out that our daughter was born with Congenital Cataracts. More specifically congenital bilateral nuclear cataracts. It has been very scary especially since up until now we thought she could see but it turns out she has been completely blind since birth.

Me and my girlfriend wanted to build a website dedicated to telling our story and tracking her progress along with sharing any articles or information we can find about Congenital Cataracts.

It's temporary and on free hosting right now but I was wondering if anybody here might have been born with cataracts or know anyone who was. Or have any information on the subject.

We did, that's the Dr. Traboulsi that we talk about on the site, he's the one doing the surgeries. We are trying to find all the info we can about this condition as it is very very rare. Only about 3 in 10,000 babies gets it every year. We just hope everything goes well with the operations.
