George is a very good friend of mine, for about 30 years. A couple months ago the love of his life died of brain cancer. Since then he has been trying to get his life back together and his business growing. Luckily, George has always been a "people person" which is evidenced by the story he just told me.
Last week he was at a coctail lounge with a group of clients when he spotted a hot chick sitting at the bar. He figured she had to be a hooker, but he didn't care, and he sent a drink over to her.
The waitress returned with a note from her that read as follows: You have to be a millionaire, drive a Mercedes and have 7" to have a chance.
He borrowed a pen, and sent the following note back: I have over a million in the bank, I drive a Mercedes and a Porsche, but there is no way I am cutting off 3" for you.
When she read that she could not control her laughter and came over to join them.
He didn't close the deal, but it is good to see he is getting back on the horse.
