It was announced this week that Paymonde (previously MyVirtualCard) has ceased operations; according to their website they are going out of business.

I want to assure you, regardless of the situation, you will be paid on all Paymonde/MVC sales and rebills made prior to today?s date. Unfortunately we have no control over the actions taken towards Paymonde/MVC by their banks, we will assume responsibility for our processor and pay affiliates in full.

IA Cash used Paymonde/MVC as a secondary processor. All CCBill sales are fine (past, present and future) and it is business as usual; not to worry.

Paymonde?s CEO has made a statement you can read here regarding the unfortunate events that lead to their decision to close the doors. There has been much talk (good and bad) done on various message boards regarding the owners. I firmly believe that this was not a malicious cash grab attempt or a scam by any means.

Thanks, it is a lousy situation for everyone involved. I don't like to see anyone go out of business, especially because of matters beond their control.
