    Beware of the little scam with the cheap .info domains

    if you for whatever reason try to register .info domains (price from $0.99 to $1.99) you might get a lovely surprise and get billed from $6.99 to $9.99

    The reason benig that the "deal" is only available to the residents of selected countries (mostly Latin America and Africa). Of course you'll only find that little detail on page 65 of the registrar's website buried somewhere at the bottom.


    btw if you know of solid registrar selling them for up to $1.99 let me know, the only one I found so far is aplus.net (at least I've heard of them before) but they don't have bulk registration feature and I can't really spend the nest 6 hours trying to register 50 domains

                          not really, people that buy .info's usually buy them in bulk and you can't do that at aplus.net which I think is pathetic, I'm actually open for suggestions

                                              yeah, I know about registerfly but I'm trying to avoid them, heard too many bad things about them, also I think they have a really juicy renewal fee on the .infos (could be wrong)

                                              ended up registering the domains with namecheap, paid $2.99 per domain, but at least I've never had any problems with them (knocking on wood)
