btw, lots of factors involved, so its a tough question... a lot of people think that a blog is an atm... if you mean ass to mouth, then you are right... if you mean money machine you are wrong...

i have network of 9 blogs... it is 5 days old and it brings me only 35$ till now... but all blogs are indexed in se for the terms i attack (from first till 7 page) and they need just a little modifications.... so the math is :
9 blogs one weeks 35$
9 x 4 = 36 blogs (your number for network) x 35$ per week = 140$ week
140$ x 4 weeks = 560$ per month...

maybe that numbers are not valid for all of us or maybe i'm lucky...

If you hand feed your site with quality original content and text, you should be able to pull in 1000.00 a week.

I highly doubt though, unless you have a word scrammbler with an English grammer module built in.

if you spend the time to actually write good posts with relevant keywords and with a copy for each post. I bet you can make more than $500 a month per blog.

Most blogs I see, ppl don't spend time writing posts and just post pictures with descriptions provided by the sponsor, don't expect to make much money off of that.

I do about $500/mo from each blog but my network is slightly smaller and are all free blogs (hosted on free blogging services)

That's not true at all. It's all about niching the blog and having niched traffic. The content can be over used like a mofo..

I think that blogs are much more useful for SEO purposes for your main sites than for actually making $$ on directly.

Of course, there are exceptions, but that's been my experience.

i don't expect my blogs to make me much money..i am building a large network of them to drive traffic to other places.. a couple sign ups along the way would be nice.. but IMO better for upselling to products
