:mad Who is the fucking scumbag who changed my home page to istarthere.com?

Was it Asher or some other copycat asshole?
The damn thing keeps changing back at least once a day which means the motherfucker messed with my registry...
Does anybody know how can I fix this?

A program called Xteq X-Setup will allow you to disable programs that force themselves into your system.

do a search for gshp.vbs on your drive and delete it, then run msconfig and uncheck it in the start up..

Happened to me too...

I also did a search for istarthere in the registry and removed the entries...

I had the same thing and did what Scootermuze is telling you.
The gshp.vbs and 2 other files gsc0.txt and gsc1.txt where in my windows folder. I just deleted them and all was fine.

Thanks guys!

Did what you suggested and things are back to normal.

This is a nasty script because it not only changes the home page and adds to favorites, but in my case it also made browsing very slow at times when it ran I guess).

This fucking jerk should be hanged by the balls until they turn purple.

This is an issue that one would think should be covered by some 'tampering' law..
It's no different than hacking into someone's system and manipulate it do go to your site. I'd love to see a class action suit slapped in their face.
