Ahmadinejad says world accepts Iran as nuclear state...

Quote:
"Initially, they (the U.S. and its allies) were very angry. The reason was clear: They basically wanted to monopolize nuclear power in order to rule the world and impose their will on nations," Ahmadinejad told a news conference.

"Today, they have finally agreed to live with a nuclear Iran, with an Iran possessing the whole nuclear fuel cycle," he said. He did not elaborate.
This guy is hilarious. I'm starting to like him.

Stalling is the name of the game. Thats what they'll do until somebody decides enough is enough.

The UN tried. Then the EU got some bug up their ass that made them think somehow they could make progress. Yeh, they saw progress and then Iran pulled back again. Now Russia thinks they have some big secret talking power that neither the UN or EU has and say they want to talk. Slight progress has been reported, too. Yeh, next week Iran will pull back again. Then China will decide they can do some good. Deja vu.

Iran has very little reason to do anything but stall right now. They want power, nobody is stopping them. Israel may just be crazy enough to do something but it would be a pretty big risk I think. The Arab/Muslim world would not be happy at all.

Iran wants regional and even world power. They want to be a powerful world player. Thats fine, but to do so, they also need to step up and take world responsibility. If they really want to be respected by the International Community they need to step up and control their people in both Iraq and Lebanon, and then they need to stop waving their middle finger on this nuke issue.
