Yup, US based CC or debit card. You can go to any bank though and usually take out a cash advance through a teller if your CC has a cash limit.

Sadly, I am in the UK... for a transfer over £600 I would have to drive a long way and show proof of ID.

In the UK, you can't send more than £600 without going to an office and showing proof of ID.. I live in the middle of nowhere, England... The drive would make it not worth it if I could just give a few quid to someone to do it for me..

I have a couple of days to get the money to him (i think), so if nobody can help I will do it in £600 chunks...

Paypal is fucking with me today to, and HSBC (uk) and A+L in BVI cannot see any problems.. Accounts in two different names in different countries... Very strange.

So basically you want someone to charge a credit card, because you can't "show proof of id", then western union that money to another name.

One question, what happens after the chargeback?
