I went to one convention after having my son, and he was very sick the entire time with the flu. He was only 6 months old.

I know I can't be at his side every minute of every day for the rest of his life, but at least for the next little while... I'm not leaving him like that again.

Im too wild, my girls have a few drinks and they get all naked, crazy and start bringin out dlldos and weird stuff at parties. Even at industry parties people get uncomfortable sometimes and either ask them to stop or to tone it down.

In middle of a house remodel. I can not leave contractors without supervision. Plus the fiance had a prior commitment with family which I had to bow out of as well. I really hate remodeling. Hoping to have it all finished some time next year. Until then no real fun or travel for me.

pretty much what the above poster said, I am also a hermit, I barely leave the house, much less go out of town and spend money on a convention that I have no use for

I guess if I was a program owner or trying to recruit others to use a service I owned it would be worth making the trip, but I would much rather spend my money on vacations and cool gadgets
