Don`t you just hate it when the content suppliers make you wait for fucking ages to send you the download link?

I have just about now waited 7 fucking days on my fucking download link....

This is the second time from the same fucking content supplier....
I shoulda known better...It`s just that I need their content...Fucking catch 22...

Anybody else have this problem?

I am a new photo content provider, and would be interested in knowing what the expectations are out there?

Is 24 hours after purchase still acceptable to get the download instructions...? 6 hours?

if you can't do immediate
plan it so you process them first thing in the morning and right before you go home for the evening or every 12 hours.

thats acceptable just post it on your site that you hand process each order to insure quality or some shit so they can expect to wait up to 12 hours

the most you have to wait with www.fantasycontent.com is a couple of hours though we are usually quicker then that and we are working on an auto download process that will be instant!

I try to have everything ready as soon as I have payment. (I accept payment by mail.) Today, for instance, payment came a couple of days earlier than expected, but I will still have everything ready for download within the time-frame requested by the client. (As in, ready tonight.) If someone is making you wait a week, they had better have a pretty good excuse. A minor delay is no big deal, but that sounds like too much.

Once you buy you are emailed the link to a login area.

Once you log in you are given a link for the content!

Thats it, no bullshit 7 day waiting time.

They didnt wait for there money, why should you wait for your content, at least IMHO!

We (our server) sends the email instantly for credit card purchases... except in cases where it appears like fraud. I think that a lot of content sellers want to manually check each order for fraud, so it can take half a day if they're AFK. I think many don't want to spend a lot to get an automatic system.

For our content store, PayPal purchasers are sent the email manually after you pay... but we plan to automate it in the future.

Well the idea of someone coming into our site downloading all the content and paying with a stolen credit card is not something we need.

We check all registrants anyone looks slightly shady we tell them no thank you.

Also if it's all permanently online they could hack into it and down load all of it anyway.

Plus it's not the speed or convenience that you got the content that converts surfers, IT'S THE QUALITY/JERKABILITY OF IT. The more effort you put into buying the right content will increase your earnings.

So long as we are awake, it's usually 1-3 hours. But this will increase next week to 12 hours as we are going to England. Even have our mobile phones set up to tell us when someone registrers and orders.

I think you will find that anywhere that takes CC it should work.

I use a Visa Debit Card attached to a business account for alot of online purchases and never have a problem.

hey, shit happens. what exactly do you "flag" fraud with? a funny name like "john q. boner" ? all the data has to be verified anyway; the cvs should do the verification of the data, so the cards in theory will always check out OK. how else would you know if it's a fraudulent user?

If you would like some testing done, happy to do it on our Terminal here. I think a $1000 transaction would confirm whether it works or not

We have paypal (which I use with my debit visa) and until 2 days ago when my other credit card processor decided to stop processing adult, I know they worked as I always used my Debit Visa for test transactions.

I can also process offline transactions with our physical terminal here - the download doesnt become instant then, but if I am around 5 minutes at the most.

i had totally forgot that zipcontent accept ccbill and pswbilling. The card works there with no problem. I'm checking now sexxxgames.com. I think there are some prices errors on DVD titles. The prices listed are....... 1cent? $0.01USD

Content providers should see their site as an online store. It's sad to see that up to now jokersx.com for example doesn't have a shopping card and neither accepts CCs, paypal etc....

I do not have an online shopping card. I do not have automated processing and downloading. Because I don't want to do that kind of business. I am not looking to set up a money machine, I am looking to work personally with people to get them the content they need. Is that so nuts?

Re: Fortnight... A fortnight is 14 days, two weeks. A pretty common phrase in some parts of the world, such as here in England.

It's so easy to set up through http://www.securenetshop.com (and many other resources), I don't know why a content producer would do it any other way. Actually, I can't tell if it's a debit or credit card on my end. If it says "Visa" on it, you should be able to use it just like a credit card. The differences are on your end, not mine.
