Sure.. some may be like that, but on average, that's not the case. A model lifespan is about 15 years average (unless they enter another niche). Part of our studio is a model agency with around 150-200 girls - the majority operate as a business and touting themselves around for test shoots daily and showing portfoilos. Some do hardcore, some not - that's their choice, especially if they can earn far more not doing porn.

It's ironic that many models earn far more on a daily basis than the average webmaster, but hey, why not? :)

Mmmm.. tell you why we get models. Word spreads and models chat with each other - and bad news spreads even faster. If we started decrying this or that girl because she did hardcore - that's not a good idea. They are all treated the same and it's not up to us to start judging anyone.

Another example... cheese :) Was sitting thru a session of almost an hours worth of raw footage for a commercial to sell a brand of cheese. Among the group was a lady from a leading ad agency. At one point there were moans about cheese and having to watch this stuff and wondering how to edit it. Back came the reply - "I am not permitted to think like that - I does not matter what the product is, - my job is to promote it". She was right. The adult biz is exactly the same as cheese. If you are promoting something, (whether you like the product or not), it's not a good idea to decry or knock the product.

I was casting a scene for a company's feature film, I needed another female for this b/g/g (I am the other girl, it has yet to be shot...you'll understand why here...). I found talent I thought would be the best match for this scene and did my usual look up on http://www.pornstarperformance.com (Yes, I know that it is not used by everyone, but usually more so if the producer had a bad experience with the talent). I also looked at the pics the agency had posted on their website...on a LARK I looked to see if the gal had a MySpace page and am I glad I did THAT! The pics on the agency site were either WAY PhotoChopped or were really old! Now, before I book anyone, I check out MySpace...just a little helpful hint from me to you!

Hehe ... sounds not too unusual for agencies :) It's often very hard to judge on a modelcard.

Depending on what type of shoot and what is required (ie.. you want some all teeth and hair that looks alive) - only way I can tell is with six shots from an audition. If six out of six are good - you got top content - and that's very rare. If three or four shots are good - they are candidates for a shoot.

The flipside is if a model is consistantly good in every shot and the end result is always 100% guaranteed, - there is the tendency to use them regularly and shoot them to death :pimp Tho only found three girls like that in decades.

I don´t know why many webmasters are so down on female models. Maybe there are more dumb as fuck webmasters than dumb as fuck female talents.

A little more respect wouldn´t hurt anyone here.:)
