May we remember.

Today we really should do our best to remember all of our past and current veterans. They have given so much and have received so little.

So please if you know any, or you are about in town today and are around some seniors. Ask them if they served and if so thank them.

Peace.

I was thinking the same thing earlier this evening and completely agree. All too often "Veterans Day" sounds like just another holiday to some.

I appreciate the freedom I do have, and I thank those who fought for it.

I'm not american but I do appreciate american veterans because IMHO they contributed to the fact that I can make money with american companies nowadays.

I do appreciate my contry's veterans too, but it's sad that their dayit's even less promoted here than in the US.

Every country with any history of a military should have a similar day.

Unless you're French.

Armistice day gets a lot of coverage in the UK every year but this year especially. At the moment the BBC is showing the unveiling of a new monument to fall New Zealand soldiers .

I do thank them, except for the one fucker who drives around my neighborhood every year at three in the morning ringing a loud ass bell in remembrance. If he'd only wait until a decent hour, he'd be in my thank list....

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
