Great unique idea for Coders!
It looks like the greatest idea for Coders to build ever been.
INVENT SOME GODDAMN PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS MOTION CAPTURING WITH!!!! FUCKING SOUND!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I tried dozends of webcam observer softwares , spycam softwares , webcam softwares in gerneral. All allow recording videos with sound ![]() All allow motion detection with capturing a video when motion is detected ![]() NONE of them allows recording a video with Sound when motion is detected. What is so fucking hard about that? How is "someone" ![]() ![]() |

sounds like there would have to be a trigger (api like) call to whatever records, and then another trigger to turn off, i think the turn off is the problem here... how does it know when to turn off? if a burglar stands still after it starts, how would it know???

Hm that wouldn´t be a problem in my eyes.
Possibility one: After a motion is detected --(send to cam)-> Record __ minutes video with sound and then stop and wait for new motions Possibility two: Record as long as motion is detected then stop. When the burglar stops moving, the record stops also. that wouldn´t be a problem for my intention of use ;) |

I think you have to have it go into your sound card first?

Hm why that?
As i said all programs can record videos with sound when i hit "record" manually , so there is no problem with the inbuild microphone or the recording. They just are to .... i dunno... stupid?... to implement a +voice function to their motion capture engine ![]() |

Now if you are holding a video camera and recording someone talking and they see you or are performing or something of that nature, that is a different story. But say if you were to have a surveillance camera in an elevator or in a parking garage and also record peoples conversations without them knowing, you are breaking the law in most states. |

Never heard that but when this is true ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh i hate these laws, that would be a good explanation why i found only one software that allowed that and it stopped working months ago for me :/ Ok then i will try it through the backdoor ![]() Does anyone know a Webcam Application that can be started (to record video and sound) using a console with parameters? So i could run a motion detection and when motion is detected the software should start a commandline and with that start the other application that starts recording video and sound (like when i just pushed the record button manually) Ideas? ![]() |
