How do I install Photoshop CS onto my new comp from burned CD without install file?

Can anyone help me with this? I tried just copying the folder from the cd to my programs folder but it keeps flaking out when I open Photoshop. Image ready is a no go too. Not sure what to do.

errr yep thats defently not the way to do it.. By copying just the photoshop folder on a cd you probally copyed only half of the files, as photoshop installs some dll's and some cab files etc. all over the place (like your windows system dir). Those files and locations a pretty unknown and are only known by the original installer... Unless some really detailed minded persons drops in here my guess is your screwed and need to get the original cd again.. (which you should have anyway...)

Correct. Not to mention you would have to manually enter all of the correct registry entries, etc...

WAY more trouble than it would be worth

If you have a serial/license then just grab it from a torrent site

Looks like you need to find your original CD...in theory it's possible, but as mentioned before it's easier to write a 300 page novel than doing it by hand.

If you have a legit copy and you've already activated it on 2 comps then have fun getting it installed onto a third.
