Since most SEOs are snake-oil salesmen who really don't know WTF they're doing, I'd say being a Webmaster is a better job.


That is, unless you can be an SEO who knows what you're doing...

Most webmaster's worth their salt know seo... maybe not all of the intricacies, but enough to get a running start out of the gate.

i think so too.. then being a webmaster must like have the "know how" better than SEOs since they have much familiarty on the web development?

ive learnt SEO the hard way, experimentation and 1000's of hours of reading over the last 5 years.. theres actually a lot of misinformation on the web..

a web designer that has a good understanding of SEO can earn good money..
