I think there was an option under file that is called export. Use that to backup your emails.

I think that just exports them to Outlook or Microsoft Exchange. I want to put them on a CD so I can get old messages if my computer goes down.

Find the store location of the data (under options somewhere), and save a copy of that entire directory. It will be named something wierd like "JHdsyuKJHDSukHJSjlksJkld" - a bunch of random characters.
You can then import it into another Outlook express, if you ever reinstall windows. That's the only way I know how to do it - and it really sucks - but it works. |

Ok. this is how u do it
Tool -> Options ->Maintenance CLick on store folder, make it something simple, and get your mail moved there. Simply backup via a CD burn etc hope that helps! Nurgle ![]()

I think there is a utlity out there (probably more than one) that does this easily. Maybe try a search for outlook express backup utility on Download.com or google. Sorry I don't have more specific info, but I am pretty sure the utilities for that exist. Good luck.
