Congrats on the launch!
|
So far so good. I used to use FWP with some custom mods I coded, but this is nice as it posts to as many blogs as I want. Already can't wait to hear what'll be in the next update. :thumbsup

Can it remix the feeds? ie.. instead of posting out to.. can it create a set of new RSS feeds that I can then import from other sites?
|

Then, once it's out on a Wordpress site, you can pull that feed to anywhere you'd like. That's what I'd do, at least. |

We're all about doing deals for people who don't want to shell out the cash, but I'd prefer to tie it to performance rather than "it's in my sig." I'm sure you understand. |
awesome news Chio, getting a copy shortly!

i got a chance to try this out.. the interface rocks, its very smooth..
one of the coolest things imo is the relationship between feeds<->campaigns<->blogs.. its difficult to explain but a very intuitive and ingenius way of doing it. also another cool feature is the ability for it to bring in a feed and backdate all the posts properly in wordpress, as they were dated in the rss feed. very cool stuff. get a copy before he decides to increase the price to what its really worth.. </shill> :1orglaugh |
Thanks for the comments and compliments, studiocritic. For sure, we've tried to make it as intuitive as possible. As you can probably tell from the screenshots, the UI wasn't slapped together in a few days. It's the result of a LOT of fine-tuning, tweaking, revamping, paring down, building up, breaking fixing, stapling, setting on fire .... etc.
:) As far as increasing the price to what its really worth ... it's funny you say that. People (especially in the SEO realm) seem to keep saying that .. they want it at thousands of dollars so that only a few people can afford it. We say: fuck that, and fuck them! Autoblogger Pro is a tool for EVERYONE to use. There's a NEED for something like this, and we're delivering it -- sure, the sales are great, but at the end of the day, happy users are worth their weight in gold. |
Just so I'm clear, if you own the single license of ABP, is there any break on the standalone price or is that only if you own the network version?
|
Good stuff. An already GREAT app is improved. Nice work!

We discussed how this would affect single-license owners for a long time .. this wasn't something we just came up with after falling off of our bar stools. The issue was this: Network License owners, who have 25 domains, paid $299 for their software. The Stand Alone version, which is a completely different product, is being offered for $299 as well. In recognition of the Network License owners' investment in Relink Software and in Autoblogger Pro, we decided to give them a special upgrade price. This price will be available for 2 weeks or so. Single License owners, who have only 1 domain, paid $99 for their software. It wouldn't make sense to really discount the Stand Alone version much in recognition of the $99 purchase. I mean, really, they got a LOT of product for $99 to begin with. The math works like this -- let's say you've got a single license ($99), then you got an upgrade ($99). You'd end up paying $198 for the Stand Alone PLUS your regular license. If you had a network license ($299) plus the upgrade ($99), you'd end up paying $398 for the Stand Alone plus your network license. As you can see, it wouldn't be very fair to those who chose to opt for the larger license initially. Remember, also, we're talking about an upgrade to UNLIMITED licenses here, with the Stand Alone version. Network License owners chose to look at a big picture of their networks, and make an investment commensurate with this outlook. This is also why we don't offer upgrades from the single license to the network license. 25 domains with the network license ends up being $12 per domain, which is a 88% discount off of the single domain price. We'd be damaging the investment and trust that the network license users placed in us if we allowed this type of upgrade. Single License owners, of course, are valuable to us, and we appreciate their business, so the decision was not made lightly. We feel, however, it is a fair one, and hope that you will choose to purchase the Stand Alone version because of the features and benefits it will bring to you, and not feel like you're getting any less of a deal on the product. Feel free to ICQ me if you'd like to speak privately about it. |
How soon do you think you might add in that little feature I need? :)

Sales have been AMAZING today, so. :) In the meantime, I suppose the Wordpress idea would work. |
Voted for your product, at Xbiz Awards. Good luck!

Chio.. I'm going to pick ip a copy soon, I wonder if you might think of adding a nice little feature?
I think a thumb cropper could be a very nice little add on, to something like this. It wouldn't need to be anything fancy like a TGP script uses, no need to scan the images and so on. Just a simple croping tool that would allow you to set the url or file path to the image you want to crop on your PC or on the web. You would of course need to be able to set the thumb size and what it links to and so on. A simple example of a cropper can be found here.. http://labs.silverorange.com/a/photo...y/photocropper |
git up.. git on up
