First of all, it's not our own site. We - serious-partners.com only process this site with billings.
icq of the owner is 152-128-284 and he showed us documents on the content when we were started working. So please contact him to solve the problem.
we will ban this site and FHGs from server until you say me that problem solved and you content deleted and so on..

wow, so it is all right to steal content, as long as you delete it when you are caught?

NICE!

Konda 12-18-2006 11:09 AM

Does anyone know what program/plugin is used to create these type of cartoons from pictures? Looks pretty neat.

First of all, i respect your business very much and when these drawn pics were created i couldn't think that it is cheating and i could hurt your business any way.
Then, site Hotporncomics is not a 100% project of SP program. It is my site and i have asked my friends from SP to add it to their program. I cann't be responsible for other sites of Serious Partners, but i am responsible for Hotporncomics. You are right, your photos were used as samples for creating of this pictures, because they are very good and perfectly executed. Samples were given to artists and they made artworks according it. Really, i couldn't think that it is cheating or stealing of your content. I am very sorry for this situation. You know, copying of photos such way is widely widespread and very many porn cartoons sites have such drawn pics in members areas.

I have already contacted with you in ICQ. I believe we can solve this situation. I hope on it. Also you can contact me via e-mail: webmaster at hotporncomics.com.

yup, sure did read everything, and what you basically said is that for now you will just deactivate his site, and when he deletes the content he will be fine

translation: it is all right to steal content as long as you delete it when caught

if he was in my program, he would be instantly booted the minute we found STOLEN CONTENT in his site.....but as long as he deletes it and doesn't get caught doing it again, he is fine to stay in Serious Partners?

if I am not mistaken, don't other sites of this nature BUY content and then do this to it?

they don't go into other peoples members area and grab whatever pics they can find

am I wrong there?

if he was flat out stealing i do see your point but the fellow seemed genuinely interested in helping clear up the problems. While ignorance of the law is no excuse, this isnt exactly clear cut copright infringement.. if the pic is drawn wouldnt it be art ? In a case like this i would think in everyones best interest to work out a solution instead of resorting to bannings and such..

such as perhaps a discounted content rate or something where the people involved agree to purchase said pictures for a fee before altering/drawing them.. this would give the content providers a chance to make more money and a much wider array of content for the artists

Andy Warhol copied cambel soups cans, coke bottles and Marilyn Monroe pics and got away with it.

That was then, but this is now.

Corel Draw lost about $500,000 in a case where a Corel contest winner used a photo to inspire his graphic that won the competition. The contest winner also lost $250,000 in the same case.

The difference here is that Corel were worth suing. But unless you have been in a large courtcase, I don't think you understand the guarantees you have to put up front before the lawyers will conduct this type of action.

well, if I had spent thousands of dollars creating content, I sure as hell would want someone asking me or buying those pics before doing anything with them

any self respecting "artist" would seek permission before using someone elses content...but from what I understand, Serious Partners and those involved with them don't have much self respect or respect for others..LOL

And that's why the 2257 info on several other Serious Partners sites is exactly the same as on "your" site and "your" whois info is the same as for all Serious Partners domains...sure, we buy it !

Listen, i have told - i am responsible for one site - Hotporncomics. I believe what SP uses legal content, it is my opinion.

oh i totally i agree , im just saying in a case like this it seems like an honest mistake ( naive ) of the artist,, while that doesnt excuse the fact , it doesnt rule out that the artist might be willing to pay for future use of said material instead of just not using it alltogether.:thumbsup

pornguy292 02-26-2008 02:45 PM

Yep very easy

MasterKeyword 02-26-2008 03:23 PM

you dont do this in PS you do it in Illustrator using the trace feature, you scan in a picture, any picture and click trace... and it outlines teh picture
then you color it in

MasterKeyword 02-26-2008 03:27 PM

gee, another one marked thieves, i think in 9 days i seen about 95% of the industry marked as theives, why don't you all come out of the closet?

One of my affiliates was importing anime/cartoon galleries.... He thought they made this stuff up in their mind/fantasy untill he saw Bobbi Eden as a cartoon...

The cartoon ripoff gallery:
http://www.hostave2.net/hotporncomic...ing/index.html

NS gallery:
http://www.nsgalleries.com/hosted1/n....php?id=100153

Then my guy merged one of the images, they did a trace and filled it out, this is 50/50% of the two images lol.

You guys see that movie 'A Scanner Darkly' :1orglaugh

Big surprise who this is! serious-partners.com - The same program that rips news groups and P2P for video clips to resell on their members sites. You guys love your no over head content don't ya :thumbsup tards!

so who you going to send after them ?

pornguy292 07-12-2008 07:42 AM

bump for serious partners

Steve Awesome 07-12-2008 08:07 AM

Definite case of infringement. By their line of thinking if I adjusted the color and saturation and smart blurring then I'm creating a new photo and I can call it my own. What ever became of this? http://www.hotporncomics.com/ is still up. Are they still lifting whatever they feel like, or are they properly licensing the material (and eventually altering that to appear "comic" like.

commonsense 07-12-2008 08:18 AM

This is one of MANY threads about Serious Partners stealing content and doing shady shit.

Just do use the search feature.

Emil 07-12-2008 08:24 AM

So, what photoshop filter do I use to make content like this? :Graucho

DWB 07-12-2008 09:55 AM

looks like a PS filter

LeRoy 07-12-2008 10:06 AM
