Just buy an VHS-C to VHS adaptor and then plug the VCR into your Tuner card and record it and convert to mpeg2 and burn and done (Actually i'm working on something similar for some old family video shot in the dark ages on VHS-C and I haven't made it work yet )

Ive heard that you can hook a VCR up to your computer and burn it to DVD that way. Is this true? I dont see how you could plug a VCR in to a computer....

Either buy a Pinnacle Dazzle VHS to DVD with a lower quality image, or buy yourself a Sony DCR-DVD405 that has AV in to record VHS-C cassettes directly to a mini-DVD with a similar image quality (as on the VHS) ...
So, attention, not 403, 404 or 505, that have only AV out, but 405 model that has AV in and out ...

Find a capture card that has either RCA or even better Svideo jacks.
Run RCA or Svideo cables to your PC from your VCR and capture in raw AVI.
Convert AVI to dvd format and burn.
