I know all this already .. I've seen the HBO special also and the DVD about pimpin ... I always thought that D$ saw that special and was smart enough to trademark it and buy the domain (being the smart Jew he is ..

I'm pretty sure the Players ball has been around since the late 80's .. bishop don and Ice-t have been involved with it way before the HBO special and that was in the 90's .. I think D$ got it from the special Pimps Up ...Ho's Down ..
