The reasons for going into Iraq have changed over the years as each reason has been made invalid. The current reason, making the lives of Iraqi's better, won't be able to be used once someone finally steps up and admits they are in a civil war and have no desire to better their own lives.

How so? I think it would have actually cost more, if you count shipping.

LOL, whatever reason they give this whole Iraq situation is one huge big cock-up. On an extreme scale.

I at first believe we should have gone to war as I genuinly believed they had WMD and (i dont wanna get in fights or whatever here over this next point) But when Bush attacked at the start because of WMD and I was in his shoes, I would have done exactly the same thing.

A choice that is costing thousands a second

Nope your not thinking about external factors. that sum wont represent for example things like, Joe Blogs died in Iraq. Joe Blogs Family now have no son to work for them when he should have returned. Joe Blogs family now lose money by having one less employee. etc etc

Damn, that's a big number and per second. Is it worth it? No. What did we get out of this and what did those people we "liberated" get out of it? They are really happen to be set free that's why they are still killing us and bombing our buildings. While the rest of the world hates us and prepares nukes and other tatics to bring us to our knees. Good move Bush, good move.

Two more years and this fucking joke of a human being will be gone.

So the price of the war in Iraq is actually higher than buying every barrel of oil that they could produce would have been?

But what about blood for oil?!?

I don't really want to start an argument either, but I would rather Iraq have nuclear capability than North Korea. And North Koreans aren't "hiding" bombs..

not entirely related but Russia has been able to pay off all of it's external debts recently, now things there picking up pretty fast like mushrooms growing after rain - money goes for country wide improvments in many areas of living. US on the other hand... damn, nothing good can be said this time. sad really. America will have a tough and painful lesson learning to admit of wrongdoings. government seems to be in a chaotic spin mode fighting unjust wars.

if americans simply gave at least 50% of all the money they've already spent on this war to Iraq ppl I bet every single iraqi would have a portrait of bush in his bedroom. they would turn arabs into cristians easily with this money.

But hey, it's welfare and social security that's eating up your tax money.
And fuck that "reparations shit" , why spend $1 billion to shut everybody up about that when we need it so bad to win hearts and minds in Iraq.
