Mutt, your wrong there buddy, or at least I think you are. The extra hour this 6 months and in 6 months time is because of farmers, because the land used to be dominated by farms and farmers it was a common rule which dates back many years in which the hours were turned backwards, so when the days get darker, its turned backwards, so they could get up in the light and go to bed in the light, instead of having to wake up in the dark and go to bed in the dark.

And in 6 months time it changes back to help them get up more easily in the light, rather than having to get up in the dark.

I havent explained it well, but to keep it short. It helps farmers get up in the light instead of the dark.

I think thats the reason, rather than it being to do with jesus
