The highest bill they still print is the $100. My great grandma had a bunch of $1,000 bills. They were pretty cool. Not sure who she gave them to, she passed a few months back.

They stopped the big bills when reagan's war on drugs started.

100K bills where never in circulation. They where used only within the bank system.

They are actually called bank notes. Anything after $100 becomes a note and not a bill. Originally the 10K, 100K, 1M, etc notes were used as a method for financial institutions to move money around and a few made it into circulation here and there. They are very cool finds if you can get them as they not only look nice on the wall but they hold more value then the denomination stated on the note.
