Ya, the fact that my friend and I spit up our beer and started laughing uncontrollably probably didn't help him much either. He left.

I believe his comment to her that prompted her attack was "Are you this stupid when you fuck?" which up until the point of her response was pretty damn funny in itself.

at work one day in the pharmacy some cop came in looking for a missing teenager, i said i hadn't seen her. then he came back about ten minutes later with a cup of hot chocolate. i told him thanks and was polite and everything, and he stayed around to chit chat.

finally he asked me if i would go to the u2 concert with him (this was years ago). i told him that i didn't really like u2 (which is a lie, i just didn't want to go with him) and that someone else should go with him who would enjoy the concert more than i would. he stayed around and talked for a little longer, then he asked me "hey, how much taller does it make you, standing back there?" because he thought that the pharmacy was elevated.. but it wasn't.. he was just incredibly short. so i told him that it doesn't elevate me at all, at which point i think he was embarrassed for asking.

SO here's the bad part. i was telling a guy friend of mine about it a couple of days later. it slipped my mind that this guy was also pretty short (shorter than me at least). as i was explaining what the cop looked like, i started to say "he was so sssssssshhhhhhh.." and i stopped myself from saying short. the guy obviously knew what i was going to say, and goes, "short? he was short? isn't that what you were going to say?" so i did a quick save and said, "NO! he was SHADY for trying to get a date when he should have been trying to track down that missing teenager!" oopsie..
