Actually if you select "weaker" weapons the game requires more skill.

They are 2 completely different games.

CS is awesome cuz it's so real, you can't just run and shoot everything that moves.

UT is awesome cuz it's so intense with crazy firepower, you can't move 2 inches or stop for 1 seconds without getting hit.

(with good players, that is)

I agree, but if i wanted a game like that, i'd play Quake 3, not UT.

Personally I think it's easier to get your ass kicked in UT than Counterstrike. I've kill guys 10 times in a row in UT and totally put them to shame... the same is impossible to do in Counter Strike. It's easier to show off that you are better than the next person in UT.

UT is more deathmatch / 1 on 1 oriented, even if it's CTF or whatever.

Counter Strike is more strategy (althought UT CTF and other modes have quite a bit too once you get good at it).

Since WCG just announced it as their official game this season, and CPL just announced UT2003 as their official game for winter CPL.
