My eyes hurt

Man I stepped on my shades yesterday and broke them. Today was the first time I have been outside without shades in a gauranteed 4-5 years.

And honestly I could barely drive without putting my hands like a shade over my eyes. After about 3 hours in the sunlight it stopped but man, what the hell am I doing to my eyes?

Sitting in this room, dim lights for 3 years fucking me up?

Fletch, i think some people are naturally light sensitive. I happen to one of them. I can't go outside without my sunglasses.

I surf almost daily in Malibu, and I have pair of custom made sunglass to wear well i'm out catching waves.

If i don't, it's just to damn bright.

I wear glasses and have polarized ones, they get good and dark very fast. I decided to start wearing another pair, have not wore them in a long time.. The dam things don't get as dark (they use to) as the ones I've been wearing. So I've been laying them on the window seal every day... To break them in again.

shit, i can't even get a license anymore, glaucoma sucks. had 15 or so deep surgeries
before i was 8, complete with one really fucked up pupil(looks like a circle with an oblong chunk attached) people who take
pics of me ALWAYS bitch about the red
eye i get

i've learned over the years to take constant
breaks, for every 30 min i sit in front of a machine, i take a 5-10 minute break for my eyes to relax. 3-4 *bowl*s a night helps as well, along with the 3 sets of eye drops a day.

good chance i'll be using a white cane in 10 years or less....joy.

Sometime life hands us some great disadvantages, but we manage.
