The more they try to be different, the more they show how they are exactly the same.

This in regards to the debate tonight between Chris Chocola (R - Incumbant) and Joe Donnelly (D - Challenger) for Indiana's 2nd District House seat. According to the news, they pratically agreee on everything. ? Both agreed that the U.S. should not set a specific date to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq. ? Both said they believed in pursuing diplomacy first when dealing with such nations as Iran and North Korea, although both agreed that the United States should reserve the right to all options, including pre-emptive military strikes. ? Both said they supported the Patriot Act as a tool for fighting the war on terrorism. ? Both said they supported energy reform, including the increased use of ethanol to reduce the United States? dependence on foreign oil. ? Both said they opposed amnesty for illegal immigrants, each praising a congressionally approved plan to build walls along the U.S.-Mexico border. ? Both said they supported tax relief, including on the estate tax. ? And both said they supported greater health care coverage, each saying that a universal, single-payer health care system was a bad idea. Same in the UK minusonebit - different claimed aims, but only with an interest in hijacking each other - and totally useless to those who elected em.
