My prediction: 12clicks' program is going to fail miserably.

After the hype is over people will notice that their traffic simply will convert better somewhere else.

I bet nobody is gonna complain about bad ratios though as his tos says any badmouthing on a messageboard is reason to get your account cancelled.

I can only speak from my personal experience.I have always been paid and paid promptly.I don't pay much attention to BBS rumors.

I've read the boards for many years,since 1998 actually and have read many 12clicks threads.The fellows that cry the hardest about getting cheated always got cheated for little to no money.

If a program is going to screw over an affiliate it is going to be for some real dollars.Not cigarette money.

Case in point... PIB.Do you remember the stats from when they were caught redhanded.They were not ripping people off for a few dollars here and there.In most cases it was significant dollars.

Yeah 100 bucks is nothing but he cheated many, many people out of 100 bucks and i dont know every detail but im pretty sure bigger amounts are involved as well. And once again his dirty little trick was like this:

I call you a cheater. I dont pay for cheating traffic. But hey, im gonna keep the traffic anyway and wont notify you. When you find out in 2 months you have been cancelled and sent me free traffic for 60 days, too bad for you.

Im on this board for my own entertainment. I do my own business and it involves very few other people. When i go to conventions i go there to party. Not to network. I work on my own and doing just fine. And its not anybody's business what i do.

If you know you aren't going to get paid, why would you keep sending it? You really lost me there.

That's why I like to use programs that pay every two weeks.If a check doesn't arrive within a few days after it should be here.I call the program.Not an ICQ or an email..I pick up the phone and talk to a person.
I would never ever continue to send a program traffic if my check was a week late.There are only a few reasons why a check would be late and none of them are good.

In my case i didnt care. I moved on to other stuff and was like you can keep my 50 bucks, its not worth changing all my pages AGAIN.

Franck, I do not have a problem. Your business decisions are your choice and your responsibility. I simply expected it to be more worth your time to find people and programs you enjoy working with and promoting rather than trying to find reasons to work with those you obviously do not like.

And for the record I say positive things about programs that paid me 100% of the time, on time, every time. The program of 12click's that I promoted for several years proved to be one of my more reliable ones. Like MInte, that's what I base my decisions on, that's why I give recommendations for certain programs.
Proven track record + professionalism = let's do more business.
Piss-poor attitude-having program owners = sorry, I'll pass.

Some may disagree but tough shit. This is my business and this is the way I run it.
