hey, 12clicks - congrats on your launch. it's good to see you back in the saddle, metaphorically speaking. that's a nice collection of sites although a few gay sites (big dick, hairy men and gay pornstars, for example) would be fucking awesome.
Thanks Basschick, its good to see you.
of course we'll do gay. christ, we can probably do hairy gay guys right out of the office.
We've actually got a lot of other stuff coming like RSS feeds, more sites, zipped content, etc. but at some point we had to just get open. we could have refined and refined forever.
I had to say, "GO"
I'm not a dinosaur, I'm a crocodile. I've seen dinosaurs come and go and I'm left unimpressed.
dude, I didn't mean to skip over you.
We'll talk. I know some of your people.
I'm a little overwhelmed with webmasters, content guys, Xsale guys, etc, etc.
I assume you'll be at LA access?

I think people had way too high expectations. Any well known name who comes out with a program is probably not going to be able to live up to the hype. It's porn, it's surfers masturbating to videos on their monitor, no one is going to re-invent the wheel here.
I do think the exclusive content thing is blown out of proportion. Yes it makes a site better. But it also is extremely expensive and most of your sites with exclusive content are either a) very small b) were small and grew over time. Most surfers can't tell the difference in the two, and with $35 trial, it's not your problem what they think once they join. If this was a revshare program, I can see the complaints, but it's not.
In the end though, he who has most traffic wins. It doesn't matter whether it's exclusive, whether the billing company is too large, or whether some people post negatively on the boards about him. If he can get traffic, he will make money. I like the designs of the sites a lot in fact, and I'd imagine they'll probably do pretty well.
My only request would be to have some more niches available to promote.
