Junk mail getting out of control

I'm starting to get close to 300 junk emails per day, and about 2-3 real emails which I sometimes have trouble picking out.

The filters I've used in the past were just as good at deleting my real email as they were at letting the junk through to my inbox...

Thinking about trying CA Quib.

What do you guys use these days?

It's a pain in the ass. I agree.

Checking out some spam control options as well.

do you allow catch all alaises? that was a big problem for me, cut the spam down greatly once i only allowed certain aliases to be valid email addresses. that and using spam assassin.

Hahahahaha, you are bitching about 300 e-mails a day? You poor baby. You'll get no sympathy from me, because in any given day I get ten to twenty times as much, and in a given month it ammounts to a total of two or three million spams and about two thousand legit messages.

Forget filters, they dont work. Blocklists put the power in someone else's hands, not a good thing. The soultion is to get rid of e-mail completely.

set up a yahoo, hotmail and gmail account, then forward it through each site to the other and then to your real inbox...at least that is what I did as a ghetto solution back in the day, and it worked pretty well...

Or give the email spammers their due by first torturing and then killing them all.

I have never supported spam to advertise any product, porn or anything else. I dont belive its a legitimate method of advertising, no matter what. And I wont do business with those who do when I find out about it.
