Some of us like to listen to music and stuff, or you know, maybe stuff like ICQ/MSN notification sounds are handy, you never know.

Having this forum hijack your sound system is bullshit, and the "turn off your speakers when surfing GFY" thing is a retarded answer. I have GFY open all the time in a corner of my screen and refresh it every few minutes to get news and updates...

This is why I installed flashblock, I haven't seen a GFY ad in almost 3 years.
