I studied judo as a kid for about 7 years. It's a great activity to train in.

When I was a kid so many other youngsters were taking Judo and were being told that they could use it to defend themselves. So they tropped to the dojo and, when confronted by someone who would harm them, found that the thugs were more than likely to shoot them
