    Reboot problem

My brother left for vacation and I need to get into one of his puters. I can get into his main computer, but the server for the remote administration program is turned off on his other computers. I can get into the other computer via the network. So my question is: how can I reboot the other computer when all I have access to is Windows Explorer. Is there a reboot function in Windows explorer for Windows 2000?

go to www.grc.com, and download a program called wizmo
go to the wizmo page to see how it works, and you will notice that it has a command to reboot, and a command to FORCE a reboot (in case your computer is crying about it).

Note that it is a command line program, and I have no idea if it'll work on your system or not. I assume it will.

Actually, here's the link right to the page:
    http://grc.com/wizmo/wizmo.htm

If remote access is turned off, and all you have is access to the drives via the file manager there is nothing you can do
