which script do you recommend?
i am looking for something that is customizable, free and takes the rss as a paramter and returns html/php thanks

I looked at it, then decided I prefered to roll my own crap. However, you wanted PHP, and skinnable. It's already done here.
It's incredibly simple to do this. There are a million sites which have RSS feeds, and I'm pretty sure that Jayman has a mini 'tutorial' for using a very simple prerolled script that will parse various aspects of RSS 0.9/1.x/2.0 so you can grab the data from it, and roll it into your own - but it's 100% dynamic PHP and not the greatest.

When you get your head around them the RSS features in DreamWeaver are really powerfull.
