We are looking for a company that can provide us with a premium rate SMS solution for a specific application we need.

What we want is for a user to text a premium rate number, the provider will then send a request to a script running on our servers, our script will then generate a unique number which we would then need returning back to the user via an SMS.

This code will then be used to unlock some content on our servers.

Ideally we would like a company that as a minimum can provide this service in UK and USA, but as many countries as possible would be a bonus.

Dunno how you'd get the shortcode approved in US if it's hardcore - even if you're not sending hardcore, if the website backing the SMS campaign is you'd still have issues. And I'm not sure, but you may need separate shortcodes: one for the US and one for the UK, though I could be wrong on that.

However for softcore stuff, we're using SimpleWire as our SMS aggregator - http://www.simplewire.com/ (now Open Market).
