Seems this might be your experience but I know of sites that are doing it very different.

Guys when you look at your conversion rates and see them getting worse look to PKs attitude for the reason why. You can only con a surfer so many times before he says enough.

Because one does it does not mean the rest should follow.

The best move we ever made was to throw open the site to the surfer. Restores their confidence and gets sales.

There are people doing it with good content, tons of updates, and doing everything to make members happy. But those people are few and far between, and their programs don't pay and can't pay nearly as much as others.

I'm not taking a side on this issue, just stating what direction the industry is going. There are very few new programs that are succesful that are opening up without a form of PPS. If you take a look at these new sites, they are almost all just 10-20 movies, a bonus network, and a shitload of upsells.

And you have to look at surfers too, which have gotten not only smarter, but more options. Members don't need to sit and wait a week for the newest update, they can just sign up for a new site and get a whole new batch of content. This isn't the old days where there was maybe 1 or 2 sites that focused on a niche like footjobs, now you have 30-40.

Lets face it, unless you're a micro niche with little competition, a unique site that has something exclusive (such as a hot solo girl), you aren't going to get much for rebills. The only rebills you are going to get are those who forget to cancel.

So before you point the finger at me, I'm not taking a side. I'm just saying what is happening. You took a shot at Epic for their sites quality, I'm saying that you can take a shot at almost every new sponsor on the market. Just sign up for a few and see what I mean. There are too many sites, too much free porn, and too many options for surfers to sit and rebill. It's outdated and companies have adjusted.

its all about affiliates that do not buy into their own board personas.....they all SAY that have traffic...but most program owners know the real truth....they just choose not to out anyone over it....

i think you will also find that postcount directly relates to how much traffic someone has or can aquire...the higher the post count...more than likely they are full of shit.....IE...buying into their own persona....

I have promoted epic a little bit before and everytime I needed something I had it faster then pretty much all the other affiliate progrmas I've worked with. A+ support in my case.

Why is that interesting? A lot of US based companies take Can Spam mail traffic...and I would imagine that there are those that risk not taking Can Spam compliant mail traffic...either way, mail is still in and people are still making hoards of money off of it.
