    Need an advice

    Working with the guy who I agreed with to do 2 sites. He promised to pay down 1/2. I delivered the draft, he didnt pay. The was making several reasons why he didnt pay. Its a week since he promised an didnt do it. Then I suddenly noticed he's using a redirect from his domain to my site where the design draft is located. I said wtf? He said he needed it up, so why doing it behind my back? Well, he bought a hosting plan and now using it on the site. I asked are you gonna pay for design and html. He's being like are you gonna continue I only pay in that case. I said I fix html and we're done.

    am I being scammed? Ideas?

      first off - never and I mean NEVER start a job without 50% being in the bank. Unless you know the person very well and trust them - it is your fault for beginning work without money cleared in the bank.

      next - yes he is scamming you - do not finish the job until you get paid.. if he refuses.. then don't waste your time finishing it. Please tell me that you didn't give him the psd files or anything - if he has pictures that do not have the 2257's remind him of that.

      you are being scammed, and suggest cut your losses now before you get scammed more. take control of the situation before it gets out of hand.

          the guy sounded serious 45 y.o., spoke to him over Skype. No PSD, just the draft. But I think you're right. Thats not adult but mainstream design.

              makes no difference whether its adult or mainstream - you always ask for 50% down no matter who your dealing with unless it is a stable client of your already or someone you know. anyone can bs their way around skype - and if he is a business man then he only needs a draft to know that the work is being done to his liking. to merely push off payment means he wont pay at all - so you cut off the feed, shut it down and demand 50% or your not finishing.

              I dont care what he replies with - no money, no respect. Always think that everyone is going to rip you off
