poor kiddo...
it can break a heart seeing a little kid like this...
best wishes, i hope he gets better soon

So, how's the doctor's test result? It's either like a skin allergy, bacterial, or viral infection. Good luck to your kid.

This maybe reaching but, 'chiggers" from being outside near or in tall grass?

??:Oh crap

I'm a mommy too and i've seen lots of stuff like this. But i think its bed bugs. Try bathing him in oats it will help the redness. Untill you find out what it is, write down everything he eats... I feel for you and hope he gets better soon.

Poor little one I wish he gets better soon

Dragar 10-14-2006 07:01 AM

it doesn't look like a rash it looks more like chicken pox
I have suffered that fate 3 times when I was a child
and was misdianosed twice because you can only have it once they said
then the specialist gave me the news
chicken pox again and again
I feel bad for the little one

It has been 22+ years but I was thinking thrush.

czarina 10-14-2006 07:45 AM

no, it is not thrush, since there is nothing in his mouth. The little dot in his throat were far back, nothing on his tongue or lips. Also, it went away with the antibiotic.
As I said, it is viral. He is doing better this morning, thank goodness!

bl4h 10-14-2006 07:47 AM

oh shit! least its not the pox..

Looks viral to me, rather than an allergic reaction. Which, unfortuantely, usually means "wait it out".

reynold 10-14-2006 09:35 AM

Oh my, I hope he's ok now. I guess it's better if he stays to the hospital.

LittleSassy 10-14-2006 10:13 AM
