You might wanna bone up on her/their background mate. They started out as a Christian band with Moody, and Lee meeting at some church camp. However, she grew away from that which is why Moody left.

i heard Moddy left because noone knew who the fuck he was, she was the spotlight. Even in videos people wondering who the fuck he was just wondering around the scene.

if that was his problem he's an idiot.

a band with a female lead singer = no one cares about any of the other band members. see avril lavigne: with the first album they tried to sell themselves as a band and refused to do interviews just with her alone - now see where it ended. i don't think it's even the same guys in her band nowadays

She could replicate the background vocals live...that is up to her/band, their manager and their sound techs, etc. But it can be done. She also has the option of using back up singers on tour. It is sad that so much "work" is done in the studio, but it does separate the truly talented from the not so talented. My opinion is I like the music. What bores me is they have the same formula. It sells, but I do get tired of it. Slow...JAM...blah...blah. But, hell, we all need entertainment, so it works.

i've been working more than 10 years as FOH and in studios plus i've been playing in a band for 10 years - and i can hardly remember any band where it's not that way. Maybe Metallica - where it's Hetfield and Ulrich - or the Beatles with Lennon & McCartney - but otherwise...
