None of you know what you're talking about with regards to the dollar amount...

The $15,000 is the amount required for a matter to be heard in Florida's CIRCUIT COURT. Less than $15,000 is tried in county courts where awards from judgements are usually minimal.

Nobody files a lawsuit for a specific dollar amount...you leave it up to a jury so you can rake in the actualy damages and insane PUNITIVE damages.

You don't know what your talking about, its 150k not 15k and yes people sue for a specific dollar amount. Even after watching the tapes closely, I don't remember seeing any definitive action from Brooke in regards to wanting the stunt to stop. If they don't settle I'm not sure she has much of a chance of winning in a jury trial.

If it was so bad she could have said no and just walked out of the studio.
I think that Bubba was an asshole in this situation, but I don't think it warrants legal action. I still don't know what melissa did that was so wrong.

Also why take such a long time after the incident to sue? I think this is just a way to try and settle out of court and make some cash, along with free publicity.

Persuaded is forced lite regular people see the video of a scared young girl saying no and a much older adult authority figure in control kept pushing and if I remember correctly threatening to bad mouth her all over the place. No means no regardless if the person lays there or not.

In the eyes of the law, a position of power is not considered a poor mans howard stern (radio host - bubba) Maybee if he was a cop/doctor etc.

She was not physically forced to do anything, she is a big girl, she can say I am not comfortable doing this.

On a side note, We have this one dickhead cop that is a huge powertripper, He hangs out at local bars, when he catches a girl with a fake id, they usually will beg to get it back, he makes them do the chicken dance or walk backwards on their knees while 100's of people watch.. What the hell. She could have walked out of the studio. You do not have to do anything you do not want to do. Unless there was a gun or someone blocking her from leaving, then she chose to stay. Even if he did threaten to stop promoting her site she should have left. No one needs promotion that bad. I doubt she will win and if she does have a jury trial she will not win.

I would agree with you normally but in this case I don't. She could have walked the hell out at anytime. She was not held down and raped. There was no gun to her head that I saw. If you are not comfortable in a situation you leave. Many models have been on shoots where they were not comfortable. I have been to a few and you know what I did, I left. You can't choose to stay and do what they want and then bitch you were forced after. If that video is shown in court she will lose.
