50...........

slapass 10-17-2006 04:07 AM

Time for Woj or some other programming type to set up their own stats remote.

Tuga 10-17-2006 04:12 AM

This situation sucks.... just like Unified Stats sucks.

Doug E 10-17-2006 12:02 PM

Prison, hospital, dead? Lets hope not but it doesnt look good. Unified Stats doesnt compare but looks like Im going to have to punch in 100+ programs anyways. I just cancelled my Stats Remote subscription. Hope JB comes back...

skyw8er25 10-17-2006 01:57 PM

UGH... I just renewed my subscription for a year right before they went MIA.

I hope everything is okay and they get back to business soon!

Unified Stats doesn't even come close to Stats Remote. I have no interest in switching over to them.

This a major opportunity for someone with the right programming skills to get to work and make some decent money!

Until now I thought they are US based, but whois says otherwise. Anyone living in Stuttgart? :)

DigitalPimp 10-17-2006 03:22 PM

They appear to be owned or operated by a company at the following site. The site lists a phone number if anyone wants to try and call them.

http://www.network247.com/

skyw8er25 10-17-2006 03:30 PM

Well.. I did a little detective work...

I googled the company name on the bottom of each page of the stats remote website, and found this:

http://www.network247.de/impressum.html

It lists JB's name, phone number, fax, etc. Maybe someone who speaks German could call and see if they can find anything out? Just an idea...

- skyw8er25 :?

JOKER 10-17-2006 03:39 PM

I'm gonna try and give him a call tomorrow around noon german time and see what I can find out for you guys.

Steve

If he cannot or is unable to continue the product I REALLY hope he sells it off to someone who will continue it before it all goes to hell... Its a great tool and it would suck to not have it anymore to use.

Thanks Steve!

Be sure to let us know what you find out! I hope we'll at least know a little more after this. :Oh crap

Just got an update on StatsRemote..

http://www.statsremote.com/new.php?version=3.8.09

matuloo 10-18-2006 11:18 AM

Got the update too, looks like something is happening over there finally, which would be great as I'd miss the product a lot.

skyw8er25 10-18-2006 11:29 AM

Yay! He's alive!

A new update just came out, with this message on the update web page:

Quote:

We sincerely apologize for the lack of support in the past weeks. Due to unexpected circumstances we have been unable to reply to many requests. We will try to catch up with everyone ASAP. If you haven't been able to use StatsRemote during this time, please contact us and we will issue a refund for the time you couldn't use StatsRemote.
Yay!

I wonder if "unexpected circumstances" means JB is dead, or for whatever reason no longer with Statsremote. I sure hope not.

VexXxed 10-18-2006 01:04 PM

Although an explanation may be too much to ask...

Some proof that JB is still onboard would be nice.

Lucky Bastard 10-22-2006 01:12 AM

yeah, still no response from them on my Q in their forum!
WTF is up SR?

DigitalPimp 10-25-2006 12:22 PM

I tried emailing them again when they "returned" but a week later and still no reply. Has anyone got a response by email for anything since last Wednesday?

iDope 10-25-2006 10:33 PM

* bump *

Abracadabra_nl 10-29-2006 05:02 AM

The silence of the Stats remote board is still deafening. A few programs which make up more than 60% of my income don't work anymore. It's a euphemism to say that this really sucks!

DigitalPimp 10-30-2006 12:58 PM

Yeah, its been almost 2 months since anyone from SR has posted over there. I am beginning to think JB is no longer there. As if the silence was not frustrating enough, some programs reported recently as not working have been added to their "known problems" page while others reported almost 2 months ago have not. :(

iDope 11-02-2006 05:55 AM

any news?

not sure why I am still paying $30/mo. :disgust

rowan 11-02-2006 06:08 AM

I'm still waiting for a fix for SR not correctly interpreting bonus payouts for a cam program. I had an immediate response from Johannes so I replied with an explanation and a sample screen cap.

That was on 19th August... in a couple of weeks it will have been 3 months since that date. There has been no response since.

Jace 11-02-2006 03:51 PM

i guess I am one of the lucky ones, statsremote seems to be working for me, aside from a red dot here and there, just like 3 though

james_clickmemedia 11-08-2006 09:04 AM

Anybody heard anything from Stats Remote yet....Would have to have to stop using them because of zero support over the last few weeks...

natas 11-08-2006 09:32 AM

JB is still AWOL, god knows what has happened to him :(

situation sucks

DigitalPimp 11-10-2006 12:14 AM

Just got an update so someone over there is still alive.

Jace 11-10-2006 12:28 AM

We sincerely apologize for the lack of support in the past weeks. Due to unexpected circumstances we have been unable to reply to many requests. I know it was very frustrating for everybody and I will do everything possible to make sure that something like this won't happen again in the future. If you haven't been able to use StatsRemote during the past weeks, please contact us and we will issue a refund for the time you couldn't use StatsRemote or extend your subscription in case you have a non-recurring membership.

If you have an emergency that has not been taken care of yet it would be nice if you could contact us again. In this case please send an email to jb AT statsremote DOT com with the subject 'Emergency'. We have thousands of messages to go through and this way we will be able to take care of your requests faster.

I'd also like to thank everybody who was concerned about me. I really appreciate your emails and I will reply to all of you as soon as the most important things are sorted out.

I'm afraid things will be still a bit bumpy in the next days but we should be back to business as usual next week.

Once again, our sincere apologies and thank you for your patience.

JB

He/they posted exactly the same nearly a month ago. Too busy to even reword it? :Oh crap :disgust

If people are paying for a service, they have more than a right to find out what's going on with said service without the risk of being called idiots.

Tuga 11-12-2006 09:44 AM

They are updating and they are giving support to the program. I sent 3 messages and got 3 very fast replies today.

I have still had no response since August 19 (including reminder emails), and the issue I was discussing has not been resolved in the two releases since.

Nurgle 11-12-2006 06:50 PM
