Good place to buy a custom computer?

I need a new computer. Basically one for business and designing, this comp just can't handle it and if I don't get one soon im going to shoot a donkey in the ass with a rubber pellet gun.

Where oh where can I get a good deal?

if your by LA I can make you a smoking P4 with left over stuff from our hosting. We upgraded almost all P4 to p4 HT or Xeon so we have a bunch of CPU's and ide hard drives available.

$200 maybe for a full system less the monitor, keyboard, speakers, ect..

http://cyberpowerinc.com , I bought one from them 4 years ago, it lasted till just recently when I moved and got into an apartment with electrical problems, sparks came flying out my power supply. They make a great pc and laptop, probably going to get a laptop from them soon, you can upgrade the hell out of any pc they have

think about that

I wanted a custom, mid-range box with main stream components, a beefy power supply, and a dual core processor.

I went here http://www.velocitymicro.com/

I got this: http://www.velocitymicro.com/wizard.php?iid=86
$1000 delivered ( compare this with a Dell core 2 duo)

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1988081,00.asp

If you want to spend more , they specialize in high end gaming machines, so you can blow 5k if you want. Much better pricing than AlienWare.

It's really easy to build your own PC. Just buy an Asus motherboard, a CPU, a nice box for it with a hefty power supply, 1 gig of fast RAM, a hard drive, a video card, DVD/CD, mouse, keyboard, speakers, monitor, and an OS.

Yeah I can get it and put it together myself, but I don't really have the time right now. I usually build all my computers, but at the moment I'd rather just purchase it with some of my own customizations.
