the pipes just have a great sound .... I like them because they let people know your there .. I know that when I'm in a car driving I'd rather hear a bike coming up on the right then look over and see them last minute .. As far as look ...I think the thin straight pipes look better then the fat stock ones .. but loud doesn't =look good

Looks good. I'm looking to do something similar with a Sportster. Put a springer front on it, with a solo seat, etc. Old style.

keep up the good work

here is one of my 'before and after' shots just to be a little motivation for you

before

after

I did all the work myself. I sold that bike last spring and currently have a red one sitting on my workstand, just installed new pipes on it tonight.

so many great details ... the pipes look great and i like that you took off the front directionals and added smaller ones ... the controls make a big difference along with the seat ... you changed just about everything on that bike ... it looks so much better ... my plan is to stick with this one all next summer .. maybe change a few more small details and then sell it to get a new bike that i can put some money into .. being my first bike and being that i only paid $1k for it I'm not looking to put much more into it .. just learn to ride on it and then pass it on to the next guy ...

other than that it looks pretty cool, get someone to stencil on a maltese cross on the tank or do it yourself and it will look good

I hate loud bikes; my office is downtown and the bike motors echo off the buildings. The noise is more annoying than the trucks that pass all the time.

I can't believe they turned this (Buell/Sportster Conversion -BEFORE)

into this (Buell/Sportster Conversion AFTER)

That's fucked up ... you really need to watch everything going on around you .. I'm glad your friend is ok ...

I like a stripped down bike .. he had so much shit on that bike I would wonder how he could watch where he was going .. I assume he travels long distances ... GPS and all .. so i guess he needs those things ..

I really like the Excile bikes .. I love the flat black (one of the reasons i have mine that way) and i like the wide tire in the front but wonder how that effects handling

click on bikes, they have a knockoff of one of the biker buildoff bikes that russ from exile built (only russ's bike had red rims)

i like the lil bruiser
that is nice and only $16k I have a guy up the block ...he just moved in next to the car audio place and he's building some sick customs. I see them parked out front and they work with the doors open .. I'm going to stop by there this week and take a look .

I'm more of a sportbike guy but I like what you did to it.

Here is my bike when I use to race for Team Kawasaki

Nice, I've got my eyes on a Ninja right now...

not as nice as i remembered it but the non-knockoff little bruiser is pretty cool, i would probably kill for an indian larry bike

one he actually made, not a new one but from what i understand they are carrying on the tradition over there, you probably arent that far away from his shop since you are in strong island, no idea what they charge though

probably 40k+
