Xp Problems

Trying to install XP on my other computer, just formatted 98.... Getting some

BOOT SECTOR WRITE VIRUS Y/N

Any ideas what I can do?

Get an antivirus and run it in win98 and make sure all viruses are deleted before you upgrade

Sounds more like you have an anti virus program running. They will cause that to pop up. Shut it off if you do and retry.
