On that topic, what is the best ram to buy. I usually go with either corsair, kensington, or mushkin. What is the best, since the upgrade is coming?

Best is always subjective. Me personally I love corsair because I've never had a problem with their ram (I've had to RMA a couple of sticks of OCZ and Mushkin). Right now some of the fastest memory soon-to-be available (should be shipping within the next two weeks) is Corsair?s XMS2 Dominator PC2-8888, but it comes at a hefty fucking price (Expected price to be around $600-$650 for 2Gb). It may be the fastest, but its' probably the worst when compared to price vs. performance ratio... so again, best is ALWAYS subjective.
