It makes it illegal for banks to facilitate transfer of funds. There are no new laws making it illegal for you to play. -

As it is, banks in states where online gambling is illegal already close bank accounts if they're used to fund payment gateways like NetTeller and FirePay.
StickyGreen, if they're telling you that, they're wrong. The law makes it illegal to use transfer funds from a US account to an online gambling site and vice versa. Essentially, there's two ends to the transfer, and if one of them is in the US, then the transfer is illegal.
