It makes it illegal for banks to facilitate transfer of funds. There are no new laws making it illegal for you to play. -

every other known gambling site announced that they won't be accepting any new gamblers from the US, so I would think betonusa.com is not very clued in about the law...Custom Software Development, email: woj#at#wojfun#.#com to discuss details or skype: wojl2000 or gchat: wojfun or telegram: wojl2000

The sites may take the business, but the banks sure won't.Originally posted by Solid BobWhat they are saying is they will still take your business. I'm sure some payment gateways will too. This does put them at risk but maybe their country doesn't extradite?
As it is, banks in states where online gambling is illegal already close bank accounts if they're used to fund payment gateways like NetTeller and FirePay.
StickyGreen, if they're telling you that, they're wrong. The law makes it illegal to use transfer funds from a US account to an online gambling site and vice versa. Essentially, there's two ends to the transfer, and if one of them is in the US, then the transfer is illegal.
