I have a chance to buy an hosting business and the only way I think I can make it work is as an adult hosting business.

So, how much would be reasonable to charge for adult hosting and how much could I expect to make in revenue?

Dreamhost does both regular and adult hosting, and their program is wildly successful. I find that their rates are one of the best I've seen for adult hosting.

- Adult gives you the volume ( discount )

agree though adult can be more money than mainstream if you do the right thing and have the right clients, most adult webmasers are.. cheap the few who understand the value of a non oversubscribed shared box and network will come out with better Prod % ect, more so with hosting these days is niche, so you do adult great, there are larger people out there that will give better deals than you and can afford it.

No one runs a charity figure out what you can offer thats different and run with it.

hey man...i had a non-adult hosting biz and the competition is insane! PPC is expensive as hell and it is difficult to compete.

Make sure you know all of the facts before you take the jump.

Expect to spend more than you make for a couple of months and i advise trying to get them to pay 6 months or a year in advance and give them a discount with this. Most of my clients bailed after the 3 month.
