looking for an external dvd burner, the only thing i know to look for is "dual layer". can someone tell me if this one is a good buy???

I really hated my HP burner... LG is usually good and cheap

thats the 2nd LG recomendation that i've got today. okay, so LG Dual Layer External Burner...anything else i should be looking for? like speeds and such? omg i am a total n00b at burners. blahh.
